The Cannonbird Run is the only national rally and car show for First Generation Firebird owners and enthusiasts. The timeless embodiment of the American high performance muscle car, First Generation Firebirds (1967-1969) have long been a favorite among classic car buffs. In recent years, FGF's have been growing in popularity among collectors, restorers and hot-rodders alike due to their classic styling and high performance driving characteristics. And although Firebirds share much in common with the Chevrolet Camaro, there were far fewer Firebirds built in the 60's, just one of the reasons why FGF Birds are coveted by savvy collectors and restorers.
